Scott Fricke

I’ve been an artist for most of my life, and have been tattooing  in Chicago for the past 18 years. I was born and raised on Chicago’s North side.  I’ve worked at some of the best tattoo shops in town, but Speakeasy is like a home to me and I feel that I’ve done some of my best work at this shop.  I work with some of the best tattoo artists in town, that inspire me to be the best I can be.

I don’t specialize in any particular style and have no preference for color or black and grey work.  I do like to custom design tattoos for good people with great ideas. I don’t like to lock myself into one medium. Though I work mainly in acrylic paint, I also make sculpture with paper pulp, paper mache, and certain industrial products. In the past few years, I’ve gotten into mural work, and hope to do a lot more of it in the future.

Speakeasy is a private, appointment only studio, committed to delivering the finest, most original custom tattoos available.
